publications which shared the same high production
values. The Fleet Review was also translated into
Russian, Spanish, French, Italian and German.
Quality work carried out by traditionally-trained
craftsmen is at the heart of Hall Brothers’ building
and joinery business.
A family-run company, that has been established for
three generations, wanted an identity to convey this
message and underline the exceptionally high
standards of craftsmanship and customer care.
Bespoke window frames, doors, kitchens and
conservatories are created by Hall Brothers for both
traditional and contemporary properties.
Alan Brannan Design have also produced
advertisements, leaflets and stunning brochures,
including photography advice and direction,
as well as an attractive website.
A company that imports exclusive ceramic glass and
natural stone tiles from abroad needed an image to
reflect its prestigious product range.
Foxwood, which is based in Ipswich, wanted the
image to be developed for use in eye-catching
advertisements appearing in lifestyle magazines and
a stunning website to encourage people to visit its
impressive showroom.
Alan Brannan Design work in close association with
the Design Services team at Essex County Council
on projects varying from coaster mats publicising a
Don’t Drink and Drive campaign, to Bus Back
advertisements, to comprehensive A-Z Directories
for every householder in the county.
Strong corporate guidelines also have to be followed,
providing the challenge of being creative within
these perameters.
Producing international marketing materials which
need translating into a number of languages including
Chinese, as well as updating to ensure content is
current, requires stringent attention to detail as well
as first-class project management skills.
East of England International, the official international
business support organisation for the region, requires
a range of marketing materials including information
leaflets, case studies, exhibition displays, maps and
folders to be produced within tight timescales.
Creating an annual publication that continues the
look and feel of its predecessors but is also fresh
was the recent challenge from the Port of Felixstowe
for its current Journal.

with the client to produce a striking 134-page
publication, incorporating port services, history,
community partnerships and the environment.
